In 2013 Australian New York City resident Yael Stone portrayed inmate "Lorna" Morello as part of Orange Is the New Black. Yael has received her NIDA degree. Yael's early career has allowed her to work with some of Australia's best storytellers. Yael is a hugely successful career in Australia. A continuing collaboration with Australia's much-lauded director Neil Armfield culminated in the internationally-renowned production Diary of a Madman, in which she starred opposite Academy- Emmy- and Tony Award-winning actor Geoffrey Rush. Yael was able to find a new home with the city of New York City when the production was acclaimed in BAM. Brooklyn Academy of Music (BAM). Yael was co-founder at The Cannery. The Cannery promotes creative writing, and creative endeavors through it's Bushwick studio.
